In the recent Dutch Grand Prix, Marc Marquez received a 16-second post-race time penalty for low tyre pressure. This penalty caused him to drop from fourth to tenth place in the standings. Despite this setback, Marquez remains in third place overall with 142 points.
Meanwhile, Jorge Martin continues to hold the top position with 200 points, followed closely by Francesco Bagnaia with 190 points. Enea Bastianini and Maverick Viñales are currently in fourth and fifth place respectively, while Pedro Acosta is a rookie who has shown promise in the championship standings despite being new to MotoGP.
Brad Binder, Fabio di Giannantonio, Aleix Espargaro, and Alex Marquez round out the top nine positions in the standings. Raul Fernandez, Franco Morbidelli, Marco Bezzecchi, and Miguel Oliveira are currently in eleventh through fourteenth place.
Fabio Quartararo is in fifteenth position, followed by Jack Miller and Miguel Oliveira in sixteenth and seventeenth place respectively. Augusto Fernandez is in eighteenth place, while Joan Mir is currently in nineteenth position. Johann Zarco and Takaaki Nakagami are also among the top twenty-two riders in the championship standings.
