The new Michigan State coaching staff made Houston Kaahaaina-Torres, a Hawaii native, one of their top priorities in the 2025 recruiting class. Unfortunately, in this recruitment, Michigan State lost out to another Big Ten school.
Despite their efforts, the Spartans were unable to sway Kaahaaina-Torres to join their program. In the end, it was the Nebraska Cornhuskers who secured the commitment of the 3-star prospect.
