Mindful Health and Wealth: JRMC’s New Seminar Tackles the Intersection of Health and Finance

‘JRMC University to Host ‘Health & Wealth’ Event on June 11 – Jamestown Sun’

Jamestown Regional Medical Center is hosting a monthly educational seminar on Tuesday, June 11th, at Two Rivers Activity Center in Jamestown. The event features senior vice president and regional manager at Thompson & Associates, Doug Olson, who will provide insights on establishing and fulfilling a plan for financial wellness while emphasizing the connection between health and financial security.

Tonya Perkins, JRMC Foundation director, highlighted the importance of making smart decisions in both health and financial areas. This seminar aims to help community members learn practical strategies for managing health costs and planning for a financially secure future. With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Olson will cover topics such as reducing healthcare expenses through insurance options, managing high deductible health plans, estate planning, maximizing employer benefits, and the latest rules around Medicare and Social Security claiming strategies.
