Mixed Performance in Gulf Stock Markets: UAE and Dubai Show Gains While Saudi and Kuwait Experience Declines

Performance of Gulf stocks fluctuates with a decline seen in the Saudi index

On Wednesday, the stock markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region showed mixed performance. While some indices experienced gains, others saw declines.

In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange saw a 0.066% increase to reach 9,093.83 points, with trades totaling Dh1.33 billion. Meanwhile, the Dubai Financial Market Index also rose by 0.393% to 4,079.21 points, with trades amounting to Dh426.71 million.

However, the main Saudi stock index “Tadawul” experienced a 0.09% decrease, settling at 11,595.20 points. Trading in Saudi Arabia was valued at 4.9 billion riyals, with a total volume of 225 million shares traded. In Kuwait, the general market index rose by 0.22% to reach 6,952.61 points
