High School Sports: Moberly Girls Soccer Extends Winning Streak with Victory Over Fulton

The Moberly Spartans were determined to maintain their winning streak when they faced off against Fulton on Thursday night. Thanks to their strong offensive and defensive strategies, Moberly emerged victorious with a solid 5-0 win. In the first half, Adalynn Hollyway scored the opening goal off an assist from Zoey Richardson, giving Moberly a 1-0 lead. Zaylee Heaton then added to the score with a second goal, allowing Moberly to enter the second half with a comfortable lead.

Early on in the second half, Zoey Richardson scored a quick goal, further solidifying the Spartans’ lead at 3-0. Moberly continued to dominate in the second half, executing their offensive plays with precision. Heaton managed to outsmart the defender and score another goal, bringing the score to 4-0 in favor of the Spartans. Despite Fulton’s efforts, they struggled to contain Moberly’s offense.

As the game drew to a close, Jacey Engel capitalized on a corner kick opportunity and scored a goal, sealing Moberly’s impressive victory. With this win, the Moberly girls soccer team improved their season record to 19-3. Their next challenge will be against Marshall on Monday.
