In the first half, Adalynn Hollyway scored the opening goal off an assist from Zoey Richardson, giving Moberly a 1-0 lead. Zaylee Heaton then added to the score with a second goal, allowing Moberly to enter the second half with a comfortable lead.
Early on in the second half, Zoey Richardson scored a quick goal, further solidifying the Spartans’ lead at 3-0. Moberly continued to dominate in the second half, executing their offensive plays with precision. Heaton managed to outsmart the defender and score another goal, bringing the score to 4-0 in favor of the Spartans. Despite Fulton’s efforts, they struggled to contain Moberly’s offense.
As the game drew to a close, Jacey Engel capitalized on a corner kick opportunity and scored a goal, sealing Moberly’s impressive victory. With this win, the Moberly girls soccer team improved their season record to 19-3. Their next challenge will be against Marshall on Monday.
