Nearly 900 middle and high school students from across the state of Montana are set to compete in the Montana Science Olympiad State Tournament at Montana State University on Friday, April 19th. The tournament is a celebration of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines, with teams from all over the state coming together to showcase their skills.
Two schools within the New Media Broadcasters listening area, Conrad Middle School and Chinook Middle School, are among the participating teams. These students have been preparing for months to compete in individual events and earn medals.
The winning team at the state tournament will be crowned champions and will have the opportunity to compete at the national tournament later this spring at Michigan State University. This is an exciting opportunity for these young scientists to showcase their skills on a national stage and potentially earn recognition for their hard work and dedication.
