Following the Jerez Sprint Race, the MotoGP World Championship standings were updated with 8-second post-race penalties awarded to several riders. Fabio Quartararo dropped to third place with 92 points, followed by Pedro Acosta in second with 63 points. Enea Bastianini dropped to third with 59 points, Maverick Viñales with 56 points, and Francesco Bagnaia with 50 points.
Brad Binder moved up to sixth place with 49 points, Marc Marquez in seventh with 40 points, and Aleix Espargaro in eighth with 39 points. Fabio di Giannantonio climbed to ninth place with 25 points, while Fabio Quartararo climbed to tenth with 24 points.
Jack Miller slipped to eleventh place with 22 points, Marco Bezzecchi in twelfth with 20 points, and Miguel Oliveira in thirteenth with 15 points. Alex Marquez was in fourteenth place with 14 points, and Augusto Fernandez in fifteenth place with just ten points.
