New CEO Brings Blockchain Expertise to Financial-Services Firm Preparing for IPO

Figure Technology Solutions Inc. has appointed Michael Tannenbaum as its new chief executive officer as the financial-services firm prepares for potential initial public offerings. Tannenbaum, who previously served as the chief operating officer of Brex Inc., will be taking over leadership from co-founder Mike Cagney. The two had previously worked together at SoFi Technologies Inc., where Cagney was a co-founder and Tannenbaum served as the chief revenue officer.

In his new role, Tannenbaum will be responsible for leading Figure, a company that specializes in lending products using blockchain-enabled technology. Cagney will remain involved as the executive chairman of the company. Figure is looking forward to Tannenbaum’s leadership during this period of significant growth.

Tannenbaum’s experience in the financial technology industry, particularly with blockchain technology, makes him well-suited to lead the company into its next phase of development. With his background and expertise, Figure is confident that Tannenbaum will drive the company to new heights of success.
