New Interim Associate Director Takes the Reins at VA Northern Indiana Health Care, Promising Improved Healthcare Services for Veterans

Benjamin Dillon at VA Northern Indiana Health Care

Benjamin T. Dillon, MBA, ACHE, has joined the VA Northern Indiana Health Care team as the Interim Associate Director. Before joining VA Northern Indiana, Mr. Dillon worked at the Veterans Affairs Integrated Health Care System in Cincinnati, Ohio where he oversaw daily operations at 11 locations including a Level 1B VA Medical Center serving over 41,000 unique veterans annually. He managed a team of 272 personnel and collaborated with Human Resources, the Office of Information Technology, and the National Contracting Office VISN 10.

Mr. Dillon has extensive experience in healthcare administration and leadership. He began his career in the U.S. Army as a Civil Affairs Specialist and eventually became an Intelligence Analyst at Wright Patterson Air Force Base before transitioning to civilian life. He holds a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in medical administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and is also Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certified by Villanova University. Additionally, he holds FAC P/PM senior level certification and COR Level III certification as well as being a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

In his new role as Interim Associate Director at VA Northern Indiana Health Care, Mr. Dillon will bring his wealth of experience and leadership skills to help improve healthcare services for veterans in the area. His ability to manage large teams and collaborate with multiple departments will be crucial as he works to streamline operations and ensure that veterans receive the best possible care at all times.
