Lutheran Health Network (LHN) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer for The Orthopedic Hospital. Lori A. Ailor, who has been with LHN for 26 years, will also maintain her current role as CEO of Lutheran Hospital. She will officially take over the position at The Orthopedic Hospital in mid-July.
“I am honored to step into the role of CEO at Lutheran Hospital and continue our commitment to providing safe, high quality, accessible care to the people and communities that we serve,” Ailor stated. She looks forward to bringing her experience and knowledge of the market to the patients, staff, and physicians at Lutheran Hospital. Ailor is a Fort Wayne resident and serves on the board of directors for various organizations, including PFW Athletics, Mad Anthonys, Downtown Fort Wayne, and Hope’s Harbor.
The former CEO of Lutheran Hospital, Clyde Wood, left to become CEO of a Missouri hospital in August of 2023 according to a new release from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Wood had been named CEO of Lutheran Hospital by LHN in June 2022.
