New Racer Joey Logano Promises to Turn AM Racing’s Xfinity Series Struggles Around

Hailie Deegan taps Joey Logano to drive in Chicago Xfinity race

Joey Logano is set to replace Hailie Deegan in the No. 15 at AM Racing for the Xfinity Series Chicago Street Race, following his recent Cup victory at Nashville. The move comes after Deegan has struggled in her rookie Xfinity campaign, finishing 28th in the last race at Nashville and 27th in points, despite her best result being 12th at Talladega.

Throughout the season, she has finished 25th or worse in 11 out of 17 Xfinity races. However, AM Racing team president Wade Moore believes that with Logano’s knowledge and feedback, they can leverage their technical alliance with Stewart-Haas Racing to improve on track performance and compete more effectively in the highly competitive Xfinity Series.

The team acknowledges that there is a high level of competition in the series and are determined to field a competitive race team. Despite their efforts so far this season, they have not seen the success they were looking for. With Logano joining their ranks, they hope to use his expertise to help them grow as a team and ultimately achieve greater success on track.
