New Red Panda Joins Greensboro Science Center, Adding to Diverse Wildlife Population

Greetings, Madeline! Greensboro’s science center is thrilled to welcome a new red panda

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has welcomed a new red panda named Madeline to the Greensboro Science Center. Madeline, who is now available for viewing at GSC, joins other red pandas such as Usa, Tai and their twins Zuko and Azula.

GSC made the announcement on social media, inviting visitors to come see one of the sweetest and most beautiful pandas in the area. The arrival of Madeline adds to the diverse wildlife population at GSC, giving visitors an opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures.

GSC has a history of successful breeding with red pandas, and the birth of twins Zuko and Azula was a cause for celebration. GSC’s Vice-President of Animal Care and Welfare, Jessica Hoffman, expressed excitement at welcoming the twins and mentioned how pleased they were to have twins as opposed to a single cub. With Madeline’s arrival, the red panda population at GSC continues to grow, offering visitors an up-close encounter with these unique and adorable animals.
