New SSA Marine President: Driving Growth and Efficiency in Global Container Terminal Operations

New leader appointed for SSA Marine’s container business following tenure at DP World

Gauthier has been appointed as the new president of SSA Marine’s global container division, overseeing container terminal concessions in various locations across the United States and internationally. As a member of the Seattle-based executive team, he reports to Uffe Ostergaard, CEO of Carrix Group, which is the parent company of SSA Marine.

Prior to his role at SSA Marine, Gauthier served as CEO of DP World Peru, where he gained extensive experience in international port and logistics operations. He initially joined DP World in 2019 as CEO of DP World Ecuador before taking on the position of CEO for PortSynergy Group in France for seven years.

Ostergaard expressed his confidence in Gauthier’s ability to lead, grow, and integrate marine terminal operations globally. He believes that Gauthier’s skills in driving safety, operational effectiveness, and emissions reductions will greatly benefit employees, customers, and partners of SSA Marine. Gauthier himself is excited about this new opportunity with SSA Marine and looks forward to working with the team to drive new levels of efficiency and growth for the company.

The reorganization of Carrix Group has led to the integration of all terminals under a single division within SSA Marine. Additionally, there is now a separate division dedicated solely to cruise operations within Carrix Group.
