Corewell Health Children’s Receives $2.1 Million in Grants to Support Pediatric Programs in Southeast Michigan – The Oakland Press

In 2024, Corewell Health Children’s received $2.1 million in grants from Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) to enhance their pediatric programs for the spring and summer seasons. The funds will benefit more than 60 programs at Corewell Health Children’s locations, including the Child Life therapist program, which has provided over 100 specially adapted therapy bicycles.

Since 1988, CMNH has been a partner of the Corewell Health Foundation Southeast Michigan, raising over $83 million in donations for Corewell Health Children’s. Dr. Matthew Denenberg, chief of pediatrics at Corewell Health, emphasized the importance of community generosity in the success of the partnership.

Corporate partners play a vital role in raising donations for CMNH, often engaging their employees and customers through retail promotions. Major CMNH corporate partners include Speedway, Costco, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Rite Aid, Ace Hardware, RE/MAX, Panda Express, Dairy Queen, Marriott International, and the annual Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational.
