Notts County Welcomes Experienced Midfielder Curtis Edwards from Ostersund: A New Era at Field Mill

Notts County has recently welcomed midfielder Curtis Edwards to its ranks, after he decided to leave his previous club Woking and move to England. The 30-year-old had been playing in Sweden for the past five years and had made 17 league appearances for Woking during the last three months of the previous season, upon his return to English football.

Having come through Middlesbrough’s youth teams, Edwards had initially left for Sweden in 2015. During his time in Scandinavia, he played for Ostersund under fellow Englishman Graham Potter and later Djurgarden before moving on to Norway to feature for Stabaek. Richard Montague, a board member at Notts County responsible for recruitment, praised Edwards’ solid performances at a high level during his time abroad. Montague also highlighted Edwards’ impressive display at Woking earlier this year.

Edwards is known for his versatility in various midfield roles and is described as a fantastic technician who is hardworking and mobile on both sides of the field. With his experience and skills, he is expected to make a significant contribution to Notts County’s squad.
