The Oaks Christian Boys Golf Team Moves Forward to State Championship

The Oaks Christian boys golf team had a successful run at the CIF/SCGA Southern State Regional Championship, finishing in second place behind Diamond Bar. Four players from the team shot under par to secure their spot in the state championship.

Senior Jared Abercrombie led Oaks Christian with an impressive 7-under-par 67, earning second place overall behind Diamond Bar sophomore Logan Park. Park tied Rickie Fowler’s SCGA high school record with a 10-under 64. Sophomore Max Emberson, who won the CIF-Southern Section individual title the week before, fired a 3-under 71 to tie for 14th place. Freshman Broxton Borck shot a 2-under 72 to tie for 19th, and sophomore Graham Christopher had a 1-under 73 to tie for 29th for Oaks Christian.
