N’Kye Wynn has decided to commit to Rutgers football due to the culture and relationships he found there. As a highly-touted offensive lineman, Wynn is an important addition to one of the Big Ten’s top recruiting classes. According to Rivals, Rutgers ranks sixth nationally and third in the Big Ten, just behind Ohio State and USC.
On3 has ranked Wynn as a four-star recruit and the second-best player in Michigan for the class of 2025. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 285 pounds, Wynn had offers from numerous schools, including Arkansas, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, and more. He spoke about his decision at a recent offensive lineman camp, highlighting the strong connections he formed with the coaches at Rutgers.
Wynn praised offensive line coach Pat Flaherty and head coach Greg Schiano for creating a welcoming and family-oriented environment within the program. He also described feeling at home at Rutgers due to his relationship with offensive line coach Alexander Officer. Wynn’s decision to choose Rutgers was based on the genuine connections he felt with the coaching staff and the positive culture surrounding the team.
