TreVeyon Henderson, a running back for Ohio State University, has proven to be an excellent ambassador for the Ohio State football program. Henderson, who many believed would leave for the NFL after last season, decided to return with other draft-eligible teammates in hopes of achieving something truly special this year.
While Henderson’s electrifying performances on the field are impressive, it’s clear that he is just as impressive off the field. Recently, he organized a youth football camp at Olentangy High School in Columbus’ northern suburb. Henderson was joined by his teammate Gee Scott Jr., Olentangy coach Wade Bartholomew and Centric Sports Group. The camp focused on more than just football; it emphasized holistic well-being and included discussions about faith.
Henderson’s faith played a significant role in the camp, with his life verse, 2 Corinthians 5:7, featured on wristbands given out to participants. The event was a success, with Henderson actively participating in activities, taking photos, speaking and signing autographs. His genuine enthusiasm and commitment to the community showcase that players like him are great ambassadors for the Ohio State football program.
