In recent news, Ocean Infinity and Cyan Renewables have come together in a memorandum of understanding to provide comprehensive marine information services for offshore renewable projects in the Asia-Pacific region. This partnership aims to support the growth of the offshore wind industry in the area by leveraging Ocean Infinity’s technology-enabled marine data services and Cyan Renewables’ extensive local networks.
According to Lee Keng Lin, CEO of Cyan Renewables, this collaboration will contribute significantly to the development of offshore wind and zero-emission shipping in the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership will enable them to offer geophysical and shallow geotechnical surveys as well as remotely operated vehicle (ROV) inspections and consultancy services for offshore wind projects in the region.
Ocean Infinity’s lean-crewed vessel Armada 7804 is set to start its commercial projects in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on providing these surveys. The vessel is expected to address site investigation needs for offshore renewable energy and oil and gas ventures in the region. With this advanced marine technology combined with Cyan Renewables’ regional expertise, they aim to promote sustainable practices in the marine industry while furthering offshore wind projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
