Pavel Durov’s Mid-Range Phone Choice Shocks Tech Community, Sparks Concerns About Future Devices

Why the creator of Telegram chooses to use a mid-range cell phone in 2021: revealing the model

Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, has recently made surprising statements about the superiority of Android over the iPhone. In a further revelation, he shared that he uses a mid-range Samsung phone, specifically the Galaxy A52 5G, which he plans to replace after two years of use. Despite the commonly-held belief that tech company executives opt for the most advanced devices, Pavel’s choice has defied expectations.

In a recent post on his Telegram channel, Pavel explained that he chose the Galaxy A52 to better understand the experience of many Telegram users who also use this device. A video he shared showed how the phone held up in the intense heat of Dubai, where he resides. This unexpected choice has sparked curiosity about his future phone preferences and what device he will choose next.

Telegram has introduced a new service called Telegram Stars, allowing users to buy and sell goods and digital services directly within the app using a new currency called “Stars / Estrellas.” This new feature will enable users to purchase digital products like books, online courses, video games, and more using Stars. Developers can accept Stars for their services and exchange them for Toncoin (TON) through the Fragment platform.

With over 400 million users expected to benefit from Telegram Stars, the company ensures compliance with Apple and Google policies regarding the sale of digital products. This new service is part of larger plans for future improvements and optimizations within the app. Stay tuned for more updates from Telegram on these developments.
