Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is launching a series of blood drives throughout Lancaster County in July, in response to the ongoing low supply of blood and platelets. The organization is calling on all eligible donors to participate and help save lives in their local community.
To donate, individuals must first register either online or by calling (717) 544-0170. Appointments can also be made at LG Health’s Blood Donor Center. All donations will be used by local healthcare providers in Lancaster County.
The blood drive schedule for July includes several locations across the county, including Providence Township Building in New Providence on July 2, Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute in Lancaster on July 3, and Faith Church Quarryville in Quarryville on July 9. A full list of locations and dates can be found on the LG Health website.
Donating blood is a simple act that can make a big difference in someone’s life. By participating in these blood drives, individuals can help maintain a stable blood supply for those in need and potentially save lives. Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health encourages all eligible donors to take part in these important events.
