Poke One, a new restaurant experience in Bismarck, recently held its soft opening. Though still in the process of finalizing details, the restaurant is gearing up for its grand opening soon. The menu at Poke One will focus on poke bowls, with options for both pre-made and build-your-own bowls.
Poke bowls originated in Hawaii and typically consist of rice or grains, a choice of protein, fruits and vegetables, and various toppings. Similar to sushi, they are served in a bowl format. The emphasis on healthy food alternatives is what attracted the owners to open Poke One in Bismarck.
The idea for opening the restaurant came from the owners’ travels around the U.S., where they sampled a variety of foods. Upon trying poke bowls in another location and finding them delicious, they decided to bring this option to Bismarck to promote healthier eating habits among the locals. The goal is to offer a fresh and innovative dining experience that is not currently available in the area.
Poke One is located at 1413 East LaSalle Drive and will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to check their Facebook page for the latest updates and information about their menu offerings and operating hours.
