Prescott’s Boot: What You Need to Know Ahead of Cowboys Training Camp

Dak Prescott Reportedly Suffers Foot Sprain, Seen in Walking Boot

As the Cowboys gear up for training camp later this month, there are a couple of things to keep an eye on. One of them is the ongoing contract negotiations for quarterback Dak Prescott. But another hot topic is the photo that surfaced on social media showing Prescott wearing a boot on his right foot while in Cabo San Lucas. According to a report by Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Prescott is wearing the boot due to a foot sprain.

It’s unclear when Prescott sustained the injury, but it’s not believed to be a major concern at this time. Despite fracturing his right ankle in 2020 and missing a game in 2021 with a right calf injury, Prescott had a healthy 2023 season with no reported issues. As the Cowboys prepare to kick off training camp in Oxnard, California on July 25th, Prescott’s health and status will undoubtedly be a focal point when the team hits the field for their first practice.
