President Biden Confirms He’s In Good Health During Private Meeting with Democratic Governors, but White House Press Secretary Clarifies No Medical Exams Were Conducted

Sources say Biden informed governors that he had a medical examination following the debate and received a clean bill of health.

After his debate last week, President Joe Biden underwent a medical checkup at the White House. During a private meeting with Democratic governors, the president assured them that he was in good health. According to sources familiar with the conversation, the checkup was prompted by a cold he had and was described as a “brief” exam with no major tests involved.

The president conveyed to the governors that he had a positive prognosis regarding his health. However, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre later addressed this matter, stating that President Biden had not undergone any medical exams following his last physical in February. She added that he had not undergone any kind of medical exams at all prior to the conversation. ABC News has contacted the White House for further comments on the matter, but no response has been provided at the time of reporting.
