Raising a Glass: Goochland County Celebrates Small Businesses at Annual Appreciation Event

Local Business Celebrated by Goochland Economic Development

Goochland County Economic Development recently organized their Small Business Appreciation Event, which took place on May 15 at Kindred Spirits Brewing in West Creek. The event was attended by around 50 people from over 20 different businesses and was a way for the Board of Supervisors and Economic Development Authority to show appreciation to all businesses operating in the county.

Economic Development staff welcomed guests, who enjoyed refreshments while networking with fellow business owners and county officials. Sara Worley, Economic Development Director, expressed that the event is an opportunity for the community to come together and recognize the hard work of local businesses.

Goochland County Economic Development is also celebrating Virginia’s Business Appreciation Month through a social media campaign. They encourage people to like and follow their pages on Facebook and LinkedIn to stay updated on business appreciation posts and economic development information. This campaign is just one way they are working to support local businesses and promote economic growth in Goochland County.
