Rangers’ Latest Additions: Liam Kelly and Jefte, Levski Sofia’s Jose Cordoba and Lens Winger Oscar Cortes

Gossip about Jefte & Kelly’s proximity to Rangers’ moves

In 2018, Liam Kelly left Rangers and in 2021 he joined Motherwell. Brazilian left-back Jefte, who is 21 years old, is on his way to complete medical tests and join Rangers after the club agreed to buy him from Fluminense while he was on loan to Apoel Nicosia. Jefte’s arrival may be followed by Liam Kelly’s return to Rangers, as the goalkeeper is currently out of contract at Motherwell.

Levski Sofia center-half Jose Cordoba has been courted by both Norwich City and Rangers for a potential transfer. However, despite agreeing to a preliminary deal with Rangers, Cordoba is said to prefer a move to Norwich City instead. The 22-year-old player has been an impressive force in Bulgarian football and could add a lot of depth to the Canaries’ defense if he decides to join them.

Rangers are also in discussions with Lens winger Oscar Cortes about his future after his loan was cut short due to injury. The 20-year-old winger still holds onto his dream of one day playing for Real Madrid and may use this opportunity to prove himself in the Scottish Premiership before making a move back south of the border.
