Rat and Cockroach Infestations Force Restaurants to Temporarily Shutdown in Orange County

Health Inspectors Shut Down Orange County Restaurants from June 13-20, Reports Orange County Register

During the week of June 13 to June 20, Orange County health inspectors ordered several restaurants and food vendors to close due to various health violations. Mimosas in Anaheim was closed on June 14 due to a cockroach infestation and was allowed to reopen on June 20. Jang Mo Jip Restaurant in Garden Grove was closed on June 18 due to a rodent infestation but was able to reopen on June 19. Habibi’s Hot Chicken in Anaheim was closed on June 17 because of insufficient hot water but was back in business by June 18. Delight Ice Cream & Drinks in Garden Grove was closed on June 19 due to a cockroach infestation, while Hanano Ramen & Sushi in Orange was also closed for the same reason. Giant Manhattan Pizza in Anaheim was closed for a cockroach infestation and KFC in Anaheim shut down due to plumbing issues, both were able to reopen the same day. The Soup Shop in Anaheim remained closed for unspecified reasons but reopened later that day.
