Resentment Resurfaces: St. Louis Fans Boo Tom Brady During UFL Championship MVP Presentation

Tom Brady receives a hostile welcome from the St. Louis crowd

St. Louis fans have never forgiven the perception that the New England Patriots’ win in Super Bowl XXXVI was tainted. Despite many years passing, the resentment still remains among locals who harbor a sore spot regarding that game. When Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to St. Louis recently to present the UFL Championship MVP award, he was met with a response from the fans.

Some fans booed Brady as he presented the MVP trophy to Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez in a video from the event. Despite the negative reception, Brady made an appearance in the Fox broadcast booth during the second quarter of the game. Before the game, he was seen chatting with former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner, who has previously expressed doubts about the Patriots’ win.

Brady should expect to be booed in other cities as well, given his dominance with the Patriots during his time with them. The resentment towards Brady and the Patriots is still prevalent in many NFL cities, and Buffalo fans might have something even more creative in store for him when he visits their city.
