Revolut: The Rise of the Affordable Digital Financial App in Croatia

Revolut’s Use of Artificial Intelligence Saves 200 Million Euros from Theft

Revolut has seen rapid growth in Croatia, with over 400,000 users and Zagreb ranking among the top 10 cities in Southeast Europe. Andrius Bičeika from the Revolut board attributes this growth to the country’s switch to the euro and the limitations of traditional banks in providing digital services. To make everyday banking more convenient, Revolut has introduced new financial services such as eSIM and RevPoints, which have been well received by users. The app is widely used for daily financial management, currency exchange, and splitting accounts.

Revolut emphasizes that their application is the most affordable financial app in Croatia, with a focus on collaboration with local partners like A1 Croatia to improve payment services and user experience. Artificial intelligence is also a key focus for Revolut to enhance security and user experience, with features such as fraud detection and transaction monitoring.

Biječka acknowledges that there is still work to be done to make Revolut the primary daily card for users, but they are committed to innovation and providing cutting-edge services. With a strong focus on digital solutions and user satisfaction, Revolut aims to revolutionize everyday banking for people in Croatia and globally.
