Revolutionizing Health Tracking: The Samsung Galaxy Ring Unveiled on July 10th

Health-tracking features of new Samsung Galaxy Ring showcased in latest leak

On July 10, the Samsung Galaxy Ring will be fully unveiled to the public, after being teased back in January. Leaked screenshots of the smart ring’s health-tracking capabilities have been shared online, giving us a glimpse into what this device can do. These images were obtained from a deep dive into the code for the Samsung Health app for Android, which has been added to the app but is not yet enabled for users. The images show that the Galaxy Ring can measure heart rate, stress levels, predict periods, take skin temperature readings and even detect snoring when paired with an Android phone.

When comparing the health-tracking features of the Galaxy Ring to other devices such as the Galaxy Watch 6 and potentially the Galaxy Watch 7, it appears that the functionality will be similar but in a lighter and potentially more comfortable form factor. Consumers may need to choose between a smart ring and a smartwatch depending on their needs and preferences. Smartwatches offer more features with their dedicated displays while smart rings are smaller and lighter making them suitable for activities like sleep tracking or high-intensity workouts.

While some have had hands-on experience with the Galaxy Ring, more details are expected to be revealed at Samsung’s next Unpacked event on July 10. This event is anticipated to showcase new foldable phones, smartwatches and hopefully more information about the Galaxy Ring.
