Kettering Health recently unveiled its latest center in the former home of Charles Kettering, after whom the city is named. Named the Center for Clinical Innovation, the facility is located at Ridgeleigh Terrace on the Kettering Health Main Campus, which used to serve as the company’s corporate headquarters. The new center aims to foster clinical innovation that will enhance patient care in the Miami Valley.
The 11-acre property in Kettering will now be a hub for imagining, developing and implementing innovative clinical practices with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Mike Gentry, CEO of Kettering Health, envisions this new space as an opportunity for physicians from across the health system to come together and collaborate on new ways to benefit their patients.
“We want our physicians to connect and innovate here at Ridgeleigh Terrace,” said Gentry. “This facility gives us an opportunity to drive progress in healthcare and ultimately improve patient outcomes in our community.”
Robert T. Smith, Chief Medical Officer at Kettering Health supports this vision and sees this new center as an ideal place for physicians to connect and innovate for their patients’ benefit. Smith believes that by bringing together experts from various fields of medicine, they can create new approaches to healthcare delivery that will lead to better outcomes for patients.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to leverage our expertise and resources towards improving healthcare,” said Smith. “We’re confident that this innovative approach will help us make a real difference in people’s lives.”
