SynthesisHealth LLC has implemented remote clinical diagnostic reading components at Montebello Hospital, an Adventist facility in California. The components have been integrated into the hospital’s existing PACS system and are designed to improve efficiency for both radiologists and technologists.
The implementation of cloud technology is becoming increasingly important for healthcare providers, especially as more physicians work from home. This project required cloud technology and training, which was successfully carried out with the help of the staff at Adventist Montebello and RMG Imaging Consultants, Inc. Despite not using any on-site servers, the implementation was completed with 100% remote training, marking a significant shift in imaging IT.
Dr. Murray A. Reicher, MD FACR, CEO of Synthesis Health expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration and highlighted the benefits of the implementation in terms of cost-effectiveness and scalability for healthcare organizations facing challenges with radiologist staffing. This successful implementation at Montebello Hospital represents a major advancement in imaging IT technology.
Since its commercial release in late 2023, Synthesis OS has been implemented at six major sites. The integration of Synthesis OS at Montebello Hospital adds to the growing list of successful implementations in California and Arizona.
