The Henry County Fair Demolition Derby, hosted by Viola Boyz Demo Promotors, is set to take place on Saturday, June 22 in Cambridge. The fair has been celebrating its 165th year since 2024 and is sure to be a thrilling event for all ages.
The pits will open at 3:30 p.m. for inspection, and the grandstand will open at 5:30 p.m. Admission to the grandstand costs $10. Pit passes can be purchased at the pit gate trailer starting at 3:30 p.m. for $30, and they are required to access the pit area.
There are several demo classes available for participants to run during the event, including Power Wheel Demo for ages 3-10, Youth Compact Class, Turn Key Compact Class, Lt. Weld Compact Class, Full Size Lt. Weld Class, Full Size Bonestock Class, Mini Van/SUV/Mini-Truck Class and more. RMR Services of Alpha, Illinois will provide a chance for kids without power wheels to participate in the Power Wheel Demo by using one provided at the event for free. Power Wheels are limited so arrive early to reserve one and meet at the track by 5:45 p.m..
