On May 29, the Roper Mountain Science Center received a donation of over $4,000 worth of tools from Ryobi North America. The goal of the donation is to enhance the center’s public and educational programs and strengthen the partnership between the two organizations. The donated products included battery-powered cordless tools, clearing products, and cordless cooling fans for the center’s Summer Adventure program.

The success of last year’s partnership between Ryobi and Roper Mountain Science Center was highlighted by Marisa Trzemzalski, president of the Roper Mountain Science Center Association. She expressed gratitude for Ryobi’s generous donation and emphasized that their products align with the experience offered at Roper Mountain. This partnership has been successful in providing hands-on activities for families in the maker space, which has been very popular.

Bobby Shaw, group president of consumer power tools at Ryobi North America explained that their commitment to innovation and creativity aligns with the values offered at Roper Mountain Science Center. They are excited to continue supporting this organization with their products, time, and hope to inspire the next generation of DIYers and outdoor enthusiasts through this partnership.
