Saint Agnes Hospital has launched a new mobile health unit aimed at providing increased access to medical care for residents in rural parts of Fresno County. The Rural Mobile Health Program is a collaboration between the hospital and the Fresno County Public Health Department, as well as the hospital’s Graduate Medical Education Program.
At a special unveiling event, the mobile health unit received a blessing from Saint Agnes Spiritual Care before offering tours to interested individuals. The goal of the program is to provide easier access to healthcare services for those living in remote areas of Fresno County.
With this new initiative, residents will have the opportunity to receive doctor visits and health check-ups at no cost. The program is designed to improve health outcomes and overall wellness for rural communities in Fresno County.
This new mobile health unit demonstrates the commitment of Saint Agnes Hospital and its partners to ensuring that all individuals have access to quality healthcare services, regardless of where they live. The program is a positive step towards improving the health and well-being of residents in underserved rural areas.
