In the week of June 27 to July 4, several restaurants and food establishments in San Bernardino County were ordered to close by health inspectors. On June 27, Hoji located at 721 Nevada St., Suite 407 in Redlands was closed due to insufficient hot water. Meanwhile, DQ Grill & Chill at 2238 N. Arden Ave. in San Bernardino was closed on July 2 due to a cockroach infestation.
KFC at 2007 E. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino was also closed on June 28 due to food contamination from a water leak, but was allowed to reopen on July 1 after passing the necessary health checks. On the same day, Los Arcos at 934 E. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino was also closed for reasons that were not specified.
The weekly list of closures and reopenings is published by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, with status updates provided the following week.
