Science Challenge for students: CBSE’s program to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills

CBSE Hosts Science Challenge Programme for Students in Classes 8 to 10

The CBSE Science Challenge program, organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education, is an initiative that aims to enhance critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students in grades 8 to 10. This program consists of two rounds: an intra-school competition and an inter-school challenge. The goal is to foster curiosity, inquiry, and advance students’ abilities in science, environment, and sustainability.

The first round of the program will run until May, allowing students from grades 8 to 10 in CBSE-affiliated schools to participate with their school’s registration. In the second round, schools can nominate their top six students from each participating class. Participants will be tested on their speed and accuracy through multiple-choice questions on the challenge paper. Top performers in the second round will receive online participation certificates, with the top achievers receiving appreciation certificates as well.

Schools are encouraged to support student participation in this program as it provides a valuable opportunity for students to develop and showcase their skills.
