Shakib’s bowling average in T20 World Cup matches is 19.38 with a strike rate of 6.81, making him the leading wicket-taker in the tournament. The now-retired Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi is in second place with 39 wickets in 34 matches, while Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga follows with 38 wickets in 31 games and Wanindu Hasaranga has taken 37 wickets in 19 matches. Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal is fifth on the list with 36 wickets in 23 games.
