A masked thief broke into Propst Superette Store #5 in Catawba County and stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise early Monday morning, June 17th. The incident occurred at 3890 Section House Road and deputies reported that the suspect threw a rock through the glass front doors to gain entry.
The suspect was described as wearing a black cut-off hoodie with a white short-sleeve t-shirt underneath, a black mask, white gloves, cargo shorts, and white sneakers.
