Sunrise Natural Foods in Roseville suffered a theft of several valuable supplement products from popular companies Enzymedica and Nordic Naturals, according to store manager Laura Ryan. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon and was captured on surveillance video provided to KCRA 3.
The footage shows two individuals entering the store wearing puffer vests and concealing bottles of the supplements behind their backs before discreetly placing them into their vest pockets. Ryan described the theft as “100% disheartening” and said she was shocked by how quickly and smoothly it happened. Despite the thieves’ ability to remove the expensive supplement products from the store undetected, Ryan is determined to recover them and ensure the safety of her customers.
Sunrise Natural Foods is now working with local authorities to track down the suspects and recover the stolen merchandise. In addition, they have taken extra security measures to prevent future incidents and protect their customers’ health and wellness needs.
