2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials: Results

The 2024 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials took place at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. This year’s trials saw a large number of talented swimmers vying for spots on the team for Paris individually and in relays.

In the Women’s 400m Freestyle, Katie Ledecky took first place with a time of 3:58.35, followed by Paige Madden in second with a time of 4:02.08. Other top finishers in the event included Jillian Cox, Kayla Han, Aurora Roghair, Anna Peplowski, Leah Smith, and Madi Mintenko. These women demonstrated impressive skills and determination throughout the competition.

The Men’s 400m Freestyle saw Aaron Shackell finishing first with a time of 3:45.46, closely followed by Kieran Smith in second with a time of 3:45.76. Other notable swimmers in the event included David Johnston, Bobby Finke, Luke Whitlock, Jake Magahey, Daniel Matheson, and Jake Mitchell. These men also gave it their all during the trials and showed great talent and skill as well.

The broadcast schedule for the trials includes the TYR Pro Swim Series in San Antonio where swimmers like Caeleb Dressel are competing once again after taking a break from swimming to rediscover his love for it as he prepares for this upcoming Olympic Games
