According to a report by Texas-based economic consultancy Perryman Group, this phenomenon could deliver a $1.6 billion boost to local economies. Local communities and businesses are gearing up to welcome eclipse tourists and capitalize on Monday’s rare celestial event, with eclipse-themed festivals and special deals on offer.
