Speaking Out: Drake Bell’s Unveiling of Sexual Assault and the Stars Who Supported his Abuser on “Quiet on Set” Docuseries

Drake Bell recently came forward as a victim of sexual assault and is speaking out about the stars who supported his abuser. In 2004, dialogue coach Brian Peck was convicted of sexually assaulting a minor, and during his sentencing, 41 letters were submitted in support of him. Among those who filed letters was “Boy Meets World” star Will Friedle.

Friedle has since apologized for supporting Peck, but Bell stated that the actor’s remorse does not change his feelings about the situation. During an episode of Investigation Discovery’s “Quiet on Set” docuseries on April 7, Bell revealed that he had worked with Friedle on “Spider-Man” and that no one who wrote a letter in support of Peck had reached out to him personally.

Bell acknowledged that everyone deals with trauma differently but stressed that the situation was difficult, especially in a work environment. He stated that he appreciates the perspective of Peck’s supporters now, but it doesn’t change what happened in the past. Bell emphasized that the sentencing day has left a lasting impact on him.

Friedle recently addressed his involvement in the case on his “Pod Meets World” podcast, expressing his regret at supporting Peck in court. He recounted feeling ashamed and out of place at the trial. After the 2004 trial, Peck was sentenced to 16 months in prison for sexually assaulting a minor. E! News reached out to Friedle’s representative for comment on the documentary but has not received a response yet.
