With over 500 gallons of pancake mix, hundreds of pounds of bacon, and a sea of people, the breakfast was a huge success.

Families were seen indulging in pancakes, waffles, and bacon in the middle of the street, a unique experience for many. Brendaliz Adorno, a Springfield resident who attended with her family, mentioned that such events are not common in Puerto Rico. The community came together to enjoy the delicious food and each other’s company.

Volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that everyone had a great time. David Garvey, a member of Springfield UNICO, spoke about their mission to serve others through this event. The President of the Spirit of Springfield, Judy Matt, assured that any leftover food would be donated to shelters in need.
