This week’s top performers in high school athletics have been announced and they are truly impressive. Isabella Bright of Riverside excelled in the lacrosse game against Eastside, scoring seven goals and having two assists in their 19-4 victory in the Class AAAA Upper State semifinals. Ayiana Chalmers of Hillcrest also stood out at the Bob Jenkins Coaches Classic Elite track and field meet in Seneca, winning the long jump, triple jump, and placing second in the high jump.

In softball, Cassidy Lee of Woodmont hit two home runs and had six RBIs in a game against T.L. Hanna. Jessica Mikesell of Christ Church scored seven goals and had four assists in a lacrosse win over Wade Hampton in the Class AAAA Upper State semifinals. Natalie Regan of Riverside hit two home runs and had an impressive three-game streak where she was 7-for-8 with multiple extra-base hits and RBIs.

Halle Tomkins of Palmetto pitched a five-inning no-hitter in a softball game against Fountain Inn, striking out 11 batters and only allowing one unearned run. These talented athletes led their teams to victory in important games and matches, making them this week’s top performers in high school athletics.
