Standout Senior Football Recruit Kyler Garcia Schedules Official Visit to Wisconsin Badgers: Will He Choose the Scarlet Knights or the Badgers?

Wisconsin locks in official visit with defensive lineman Kyler Garcia for 2025

Rising senior Kyler Garcia from Pearl-Cohn High School in Nashville, Tennessee, has officially scheduled a visit to the Badgers for the weekend of June 14. The program extended an offer to the three-star recruit on May 22. Garcia is ranked as the No. 109 player at his position in the class of 2025 and the No. 27 recruit from Tennessee by 247Sports. So far, he has received 14 Division I offers, including from schools like Arkansas, Indiana, Louisville, Purdue, and Vanderbilt.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 275 pounds, Garcia was part of his school’s state championship team in 2023. The Wisconsin Badgers’ class of 2025 currently does not have a committed defensive lineman. However, their defensive line depth chart for the upcoming season includes players like James Thompson Jr., Curt Neal, and Brandon Lane – a flipped transfer commit from Louisville.

Despite predictions from both On3 and Rivals that Garcia is likely to choose Rutgers, he still has time to make his decision before officially committing to any college program. Ultimately, it will be up to this talented recruit to choose where he will continue his football career.
