Superpole Race Results from 2024 World Superbike at Misano Circuit

In the Superpole race at Misano, Toprak Razgatlioglu continued his impressive run by winning Sunday morning’s race and extending his lead in the WorldSBK standings. The BMW rider overtook Nicolo Bulega for the lead before pulling away in the final laps. Alex Lowes finished third for Kawasaki.

The Ducati teammates, Bulega and Alvaro Bautista, faced challenges during the race, with Bulega making contact with Lowes while rejoining the track after running wide, and Bautista falling from his Panigale and finishing 17th. Remy Gardner and Garrett Gerloff also collided, causing both riders to crash, and Sam Lowes had an early fall.

Jonathan Rea made an impressive comeback after a huge crash in yesterday’s race by finishing 8th after starting in 15th place. The full-length Race 2 is scheduled for 14:00 local time later in the afternoon.

Andrea Locatelli finished fourth in the Superpole race, while Andrea Iannone finished fifth. Axel Bassani came in sixth place, followed by Iker Lecuona in seventh and Jonathan Rea in eighth. Danilo Petrucci finished ninth, with Dominique Aegerter coming in tenth.
