The race was one of the fastest in history, with four women finishing inside 53 seconds. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, the Olympic champion and world record holder in the 400m hurdles, further solidified her dominance in the event by breaking her own world record at the US Trials in Eugene. She crossed the finish line in 50.65, a stunning achievement that saw her shave off 0.03 seconds from her previous record.

From the moment the starting gun fired, McLaughlin-Levrone took control of the race, leading from start to finish and leaving her competitors in the dust.
