Among the nominees for Team of the Year are some exceptional teams that have shown remarkable skill and determination throughout their seasons. The Haverling girls soccer team secured their first-ever state title, while Corning softball won their second state championship. Waverly football achieved their first-ever state championship, and Tioga football secured their third-straight state crown after winning an impressive 41 consecutive games. These teams truly deserve recognition for their outstanding achievements in sports.
